We were lucky to be sent a Baby Annabell I Care For You Doll to review.
My daughter Loren has been a HUGE Baby Annabell fan ever since she started to play with babies and dolls at around 15/18 months, so she was thrilled when I asked her if she would like another one to try out and see what she thought.
My First Baby Annabell I Care For You is a 36cm functional doll that combines traditional nurturing role play with the option of a free app, that teaches children how to care for a baby.
Adorable Baby Annabell combines a range of realistic features with a’ Day in the life of baby’ nursing app playable in both online and offline modes and is suitable for use on both Apple and Android devices.
The doll sends a nurturing suggestion to your child so that they can react and feel just like a real mummy or daddy. Playing in the app mode, the child can follow a fun routine with their doll, completing nurturing actions before moving on to the next task.
Your little one can play with the doll using the app and interacting in online mode or there is a switch inside Baby Annabell’s clothing that you can move to ‘offline mode’ and your child can role play, without using the app.
Encouraging and teaching your son or daughter to nurture and care for a doll with lifelike features that is able to cry, gurgle and laugh in response to the things they do and the way they treat it, is a great way to teach empathy and be able to show love and affection, that they can then transfer to real babies, including younger siblings they may end up having.
The Baby Annabell I care for you doll is available in all major shops and online, and comes with a bottle, nappy and little cloth that are all used to do activities on the app.
We have one of these to give away to one lucky child.
