It’s good to know you’re not alone

Up All Hours

This morning my husband and I and lots of other parent bloggers, Media and Celebs were invited to an exciting event at Jamie Olivers' Italian restaurant in Piccadilly.

We met and chatted to Jamie Oliver (who I unfortunately forgot to get a photo with-DAMN,) and Ben Shepherd, who is a presenter on Good Morning Britain

(Yay I got a photo with him!)

And various press and media interested in the launch of a brand new Website.

A new modern, interactive parenting site called Up All Hours will go live on Friday(23rd) this week.

The idea was initially born from the Creator Sam ( @UpAllHours ) being up in the night regularly with her son Barney, who is now 3 years old.

She once tweeted a photo while awake in the small hours and was amazed at the immediate response from other parents, who were also up at that ungodly hour of the night!

She immediately felt reassured that she wasn't alone in her nocturnal waking and thought it would be wonderful if she could create a global online community support, so parents would always be able to chat or interact with another parent awake at the same time as them.

The Website has been in design stages since then with lots of people involved and on Friday it will finally go live.

I am very excited that Sam has asked me to be a Resident Expert writer on the site and there are a few others who will be joining me.

Here is a photo of some of us at the launch

We will all be writing a regular blog on the UpAllHours Website and there will be various competitions and interactive things for parents to take part in.

We had a sneak preview of Jamie Oliver doing the 'Nappy changing challenge' which is hilarious and the video will be on the Website to view when it goes live on Friday
